When I photograph portraits, I strive to capture more than just an image – I want to capture a feeling, a presence.
I prefer to photograph in moments when the person in front of the camera is unaware of the lens, when the soul feels free and authentic. My approach is to create a relaxed atmosphere, taking many photos and allowing the subject to forget the camera is even there. This is when the most natural and genuine portraits emerge.
I’m drawn to either the spontaneous and unguarded or the carefully composed. For me, the final result is what matters most – a photograph that not only shows what someone looks like but also conveys something deeper, a feeling that lingers.
